- Foreign Currency - Travelers can obtain a variety
of foreign currencies including the Euro, the Australian Dollar, Canadian
Dollar, Japanese Yen, Pound Sterling and Swiss Franc. The conversion
rates and currencies available at each office vary based on local laws
and cash availability. We can supply foreign currencies to travelers
within 24 hours of the request. In addition, business travelers can
contact American Express for daily updates on the value of the U.S.
dollar compared to any of 100 currencies worldwide.
- Wire Transfers - electronically transfer funds in
over 105+ currencies across a network of hundreds of banks around the world.
- Emergency Check Cashing - By presenting the American
Express® Card, Cardmembers may cash personal checks at all of Williamsburg
- American Express locations and most American Express offices worldwide, including
U.S. and Canadian hotels and motels and when the Card is used to settle
the bill. In addition, checks may be cashed at airline ticket counters.
